At the annual branch meeting Saturday, Dec. 7, at RENA Community Center, Judge Joal Broun conducted the swearing-in of the recently elected officers and at-large executive committee members., including a group approved as a slate at the meeting who had not been on the initial ballot.
It was also a historic Saturday in that the main branch and the Youth Council met at the same time, with the Youth Council at an auxiliary space at RENA. And the plan going forward is to hold the meetings at the same time so adult and youth members can be encouraged to turn out together.
